Basically, without the patch, the interrupts are all routed incorrectly on the cardbus controllers on the dock station when you hotdock. If we revert this patch, we are going to break docking on the T20. I'm ok with that - I think it is far better to not oops. And the patch isn't needed on newer systems (like T40) which have less brain death. I think we could decide to just let docking break on these older systems.
