I think the limitation is only 2TB. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ryan Langseth Sent: Friday, October 23, 2009 10:16 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Installing CentOS on R710 with GPT
I have a R710 with 6x1tb disks in a RAID 10 configuration. I am trying to get CentOS 5.x install onto the system but I am running into problems with the GPT partition on the disks. CentOS will not install with a GPT partition table. Normally I would just create a second virtual disk for /boot but the perc 6 cards do not seem to support this, Has anyone installed CentOS/RHEL on a VD larger than 2tb? Any pointers? _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
