Russ,

I haven't done this myself *yet* but I'm in a similar situation here is my
working plan:
- install OS and OMSA
- get OMSA to work with full srvadmin-all and each server
- install Splunk on a dedicated monitoring/alerts server
- reconfigure snmpd to send traps to splunk server
- tie IPMI of each server into Splunk

http://www.splunk.com/

You could use Dell ITA as well but it is windows-only. And I hate that ;) BTW,
I'm at step 2 right now, getting to step 3 next week or the week after that, I
hope.
I don't know of a way to setup an OMSA "master" admin server on Linux to
monitor and manage all alerts, traps and IPMI check on all my Linux servers...

Chris.
