I'm running RHEL5.3 x86 on this server, and trying to install OMSA 5.5. I accidentally installed OMSA 6.2 first, but removed all the installed packages through yum. I then ran the 5.5 bootstrap.sh, and it seems to have installed the repo correctly, but when I try to install srvadmin-all, yum does not find the package.
This is the output I'm getting: ========== [root]# yum -v search srvadmin-all Loading "fastestmirror" plugin Loading "priorities" plugin Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, priorities Running "config" handler for "priorities" plugin Config time: 0.214 Running "init" handler for "fastestmirror" plugin Yum Version: 3.2.19 COMMAND: yum -v search srvadmin-all Installroot: / Ext Commands: srvadmin-all Setting up Package Sacks Running "postreposetup" handler for "fastestmirror" plugin Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * epel: serverbeach1.fedoraproject.org * dell-community: linux.dell.com * base: yum.singlehop.com * updates: mirror.cogentco.com * addons: mirror.anl.gov * extras: centos.corenetworks.net Running "exclude" handler for "priorities" plugin --> [...Removed list of excluded packages...] 102 packages excluded due to repository priority protections pkgsack time: 1.947 Reading Local RPMDB rpmdb time: 0.000 Warning: No matches found for: srvadmin-all No Matches found ========== I reviewed the list of excluded packages, and the Dell packages are not excluded.
