I have a MD3000 connected to an R710. The MD3000 have the out of band ethernet cards up. I'm not running any special software on the Ubuntu box to read status from the MD3000. I'd like to be notified of alerts via any method but I'm not sure how to get that working. It seems like if I setup the out of band software it needs to be open for the alerts to go out.
