Hello everybody, I have PE2850 with PERC4e/Di RAID controller. The controller is connected to split backplane with one SCSI channel dedicated to RAID-1 array and one to ordinary single SCSI disk. In some time I am going to replace the riser card (from PCI-X version to PCI-e). Has anybody done such change? Is it possible to change riser card and not loose data on RAID array? I heard that there is a possibility to store RAID config data on disk, but I never tried anything like this. I would be really glad to opinions and suggestions, I'm sure that there are many persons much more experienced in this area then me.
