I don't know of any database like that, but it would sure be useful! :) Off the top of my head those DIMM's should work in 1950's, 2950's and R900's. They may also work in 2850's, but I have not had a chance to try it yet. (2850's are DDR2, but slower, not sure if the 5300's will run at that speed, but should)

For example, I have a pile of 2GB PC2-5300 DDR2 ECC Registered DIMMS here removed from a Sun X4200 and salvaged from a dumpster (!). I am pretty sure these are compatible with the PE 1950 and slower DDR2-socketed PowerEdges. If not, I should start compiling a Sun-Dell crossreference. (Consumer mobos are rarely ECC + Registered - although I'd pay extra for one considering how much old registered memory I find.) -w _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge Please read the FAQ at http://lists.us.dell.com/faq
