Hi List,
I've been reading about the smartctl problems people have been having. I
couldn't see my controller listed in any of the threads. OS is RHEL5.4
smartmontools is smartmontools-5.38-2.el5
lsmod | grep mpt
mptctl 64073 2
mptbase 117765 1 mptctl
scsi_mod 196697 14
mptctl,ib_iser,iscsi_tcp,bnx2i,cxgb3i,libiscsi2,scsi_transport_iscsi2,scsi_dh,sr_mod,libata,usb_storage,sg,megaraid_sas,sd_mod
lspci -vv ..

I'm looking to check a disk which is now a hot spare but may have failed
previously so I'd like to know whether is has any failing blocks.
smartctl -a -d megaraid,1 /dev/sdd
