Have you updated the BIOS to the latest? I received a big order of R710
and R610 last week which had this same issue. BIOS was out of date when I
received my units.

* Updated Intel(R) Xeon(R) Processor 5600 Series B1 stepping microcode
(Patch ID=0x10). This update resolves an issue on the Westmere-EP (5600
series) processors that may result in an invalid memory DRAM state, system
hang, reboot, memory ECC errors or unpredictable system behavior.
This issue is not unique to Dell PowerEdge servers and is resolved by a
new revision of Intel's microcode that is available in this BIOS revision.
Intel Xeon 5500 series processors are not affected by this issue.

Not sure if this applies to you as it depends on your processor.

Subject: server rebooting frequently how to diagnose

I am having a small problem on my Power Edge server.
It is PowerEdge R710.
It is rebooting frequently I am having a virtuallization setup over it.
Some one a long time back had told me about some way to make a log on
power edge via a utility which can have some sort of dumps.
Which I can send to Dell for analysis if any one is able to understand
what I am saying then give me a link.
Or if there is some other way to debug this?
