There was a thread the last couple of weeks about Cent 5.5 on a 2450. They were able to get OMSA 5.5 functioning on it once a few details were worked out. I believe the steps for the 2550 would be the same as those that you already followed for the 2650s. The 6.x versions of OMSA have removed some of the low level support for older platforms so would probably not work for the 2550.
