Probably yes, tho' I've not tried that model.  It depends what 
controller it's attached to.  If it's a plain SATA drive as far as Linux 
is concerned (no HW RAID), then a recent hdparm should do it.  For 
recent Dell PERC and SAS, controllers, lsiutil and megactl both have 
options to update the firmware on the drives.  I've updated various 
Seagate, WD, HDs and Intel SSDs using all three methods.
