That is odd. There must be some other reason why the dell module is not finding the device. You can run this to verify if the device is being found or not: '/usr/libexec/dell_dup/dell_ie_sas/sasdupie -i -d' and look for a PERC 6. If it's not there send me the debug log from the same directory. I understand if you don't want to mess with it, since you're up to date.
