You are correct. The BMC is standard for a R410, R310, R210. The iDRAC express and iDRAC Enterprise are optional upgrades. I think what the sales person was trying to say is that in order to take full advantage of all the features of the iDRAC Enterprise, it must also have the iDRAC express upgraded from the BMC.
