Thanks for the reply. Again, we know how to correct the issue - but personally my main issue is that your upstream repo change silently prevents automatic updates from working. If a customer has yum-cron configured to patch a server nightly - all OS updates will no longer work until some manual remediation is performed. It’s very possible that a lot of customers may be in similar circumstances running RHEL 6 & OMSA 8.1 from the deprecated DLR and just not know about it - until they realize patching is broke. Dell chose to point the “latest" url over to the DSU which in lies the problem and affected all older DLR repo configs. I understand that I am accepting some risk by having my dell repo point to the latest branch URL - however, at least provide an automatic upgrade path from 8.1 - 8.3 in that case.
