OK, which version(s) of OMSA is/are supported for this OS, then, please?

I ran the debug mode for around 20 minutes (ie. turned the debug on per the 
below, started OMSA, ran for 20 mins or so then stopped OMSA and turned debug 
off) and have attached the dcomsm.log file.

First of all, this OS is not supported by OMSA 7.1.

Still, if you want us to check it, I'll suggest you to send us the dcomsm.log 
file to investigate it further.

Steps to collect dcomsm.log file:<javascript:openUrl('file:');>

1)      Stop Data Manager Service   (srvadmin-services.sh stop)

2)      Go to /opt/dell/srvadmin/etc/srvadmin-storage  and open stsvc.ini file.

3)      Change "Debug=Off" to "Debug=On"

4)      Change all the debug levels from "DebugLevels=0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0" to 
"DebugLevels=3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3"

5)      Start Data Manager Service  (srvadmin-services.sh stop)
dcomsm.log file will be generated at /opt/dell/srvadmin/var/log/openmanage 
location.

All,

One of my PER720s, this one running Oracle Linux 5.8 with OMSA 7.1, has just 
started reporting that the Enclosure Backplane is Degraded, but I cannot find 
why.

I have used the OMSA Web interface, and checked the alertlog and esmlog 
(omreport system esmlog/omreport system alertlog), but there is nothing 
apparent.

In OMSA Web, clicking on Storage in the Navigation pane shows a yellow triangle 
next to PERC H710 Mini in the Data pane, then drilling down, in the Navigation 
pane, through PERC H710 Mini (yellow triangle for Connector 0), Connector 0 
(yellow triangle for Enclosure (Backplane)) to Enclosure (Backplane), then 
shows Physical Disks in the Data pane, with a green tick next to it.
I have also exported the log for the storage (an Available Task for the PERC 
entry), but this appears to be more-or-less the same as the alertlog, and only 
shows patrol reads starting/stopping over the past weeks..

Anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem, or, failing that, how to 
get more information that might unearth the problem?

I cannot use Dell as we only get warranty on our servers (all servers we have 
are out of warranty) and we use a third-party to do break/fix.
