Hi All,

I'd like to report a successful upgrade for my PE T410 that now runs a
H730P as its main HBA (connected to the hot-swap backplane).

The reason behind that upgrade was:
1) free the 9271-8i so I could re-use it in another system.
2) benefit from the much larger heatsink (my T410 is quite passively
cooled and runs only a single Noctua Fan to make it very silent).
3) benefit from the Backup Cache that comes with the H730P
4) improve performance a bit (it was already good but hey..)

The upgrade from the 9271-8i was simply a matter of replacing the HBA and
the two multi-lane SAS cables (the H730P has different connectors).

I was able to flash it under RHEL6.8 using the provided SAS BIN firmware
which I downloaded from http://www.dell.com/support.

Here's what megaclisas-status now says:
