Mike, Try exploring the “omreport system” options. In particular “omreport system esmlog”, whose first few lines are:
omreport system esmlog Embedded System Management (ESM) Log Health : Ok ... You can get progressive help by tagging “-?” to omreport, ie. “omreport -?” shows general help, “omreport system -?” shows help about the system sub-command, “omreport system esmlog -?” shows help for the esmlog component of the system sub-command and so on. The racadm command is also capable of getting back the System Event Log, but it doesn’t seem to give an overall status, and nothing else seems to stand out as providing that one overall status. racadm , too, has progressive help: “racadm help”, “racadm help getsel”.
