Hello, I'm having issues with importing XML file with OMSA 8.5.0 on RHEL 6.8. I've tried on FC630 and r730XD and came across same issue as shown below:
# /opt/dell/srvadmin/sbin/racadm set -f /root/file.xml -t xml --preview RAC977: Import configuration XML file operation initiated. Use the "racadm jobqueue view -i JID_982234034908" command to view the status of the operation. # racadm jobqueue view -i JID_982234034908 ---------------------------- JOB ------------------------- [Job ID=JID_982234034908] Job Name=Preview Configuration Status=Failed Start Time=[Not Applicable] Expiration Time=[Not Applicable] Message=[SYS188: Unable to perform the import as the specified file has a file size of zero.] Percent Complete=[100] ---------------------------------------------------------- # ll /root/file.xml -rwxrwxr-x 1 root root 187947 Jun 22 06:04 /root/file.xml As you can see, file size of zero is a misnomer here. Issue seems to be not having a particular set of srvadmin-* rpms. Looks like having excess packages from 8.5.0 suite also causes issue. Can someone please shed some light on this please?
