I have five R610s and have failed completely to get the machines to
accept a DHCP address for the IPMI device. I've been doing this for
years with PE1950s and PE2950s, but setting the IPMI address for the
R610 has elluded me.

The cable is plugged into NIC 1. I entered the IPMI MAC address in my
DHCP tables (enter Ctrl-E, get MAC address, set admin user/password
etc). I've tried every conceivable permutation in the BIOS settings,
but try as I will, no address is ever assigned (displayed at the very
end of the BIOS process).

Anyone gotten this to work? What's the magic I missed? TIA
