Hello list, I plan to buy a r200 as a linux server, from what I read centos is my best choice for OS. I'm thinking about buying sata disks that are much cheaper than SAS and seems to be supported for raid 0 (mirror) on the built in raid controller - SAS 6iR (am I right ? does this controller support sata disks ?)
I assume that w/ NBD service I can get a replacement on hd failure in case of troubles before the second disk will die. Does OSMA report information about sata raid ? any other arguments against sata ?
