I just ran into the same problem. In may case, I started an openvpn client
session, which created a tun device by the name of tun0. Whenever that device
is up, omreport fails in same the manner Thomas described. As soon as I bring
it down, omreport works fine. This is very strange and is preventing me from
doing critical configurations...

Any ideas?
