Dear all,

I installed debian lenny on my brand new dell poweredge R410 (dual quad core
Xeon - 12 GB ram).
The lenny installer was not able to detect the two Broadcom NetXtremeII BCM
5716.

A google search recommended to install a new kernel 2.6.29 and a new firmware
package for the NIC.
So after installing lenny, I installed
dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.29-bpo.2-686_2.6.29-5~bpo50+1_i386.deb
dpkg -i firmware-bnx2_0.17~bpo50+1_all.deb

but after reboot with the new kernel still no network cards available.

Since I am not a linux expert, I appreciate every help!!!

Thanks in advance,
Roman
