Hi,
Did anyone find issues with ipmitool on the newer R710 servers or is it just
me?

I am using the latest build of ipmitool 1.8.11

I believe IPMI is working as I can read configuration but for some reason
its not able to establish a connection to a peer.
May be because of authentication failure or type mismatch ?

Thanks for your time,

Linux CentOS 4.7 (Final)

Kernel: 2.6.9-67

[r...@xxxx ~]# ipmitool -I lan -H 10.1.1.14 -U root -P password chassis
power status

Authentication type NONE not supported

Authentication type NONE not supported

Error: Unable to establish LAN session

Unable to get Chassis Power Status

With verbose mode on, I get the following. Am I missing anything very
trivial.

[r...@xxxx ~]# ipmitool -I lan -H 10.1.1.14 -U root -P password chassis
