I'm not familiar with ppp-2.3.4. You sure this is right? You probably only
need 205.244.119.5:205.244.119.3 instead of slackware:ppp

I think your problem is the fact that you have assigned your own gateway.
Remove it and let your linux box fill that in. There shouldn't be anything
else to do on the server for it to assign it.

What are your doing when this comes up and you login? Do you simply type
/sbin/pppd  and then click continue?
