Linux PPP DOD

I'm running the RHL 5.1 Linux with v2.3 ppp the man file says that 
Dial-on-demand is only available for BSD, but a readme elsewhere says 
that it only fails to work on Ultrix, which (if any) are correct?


I'd like to use it so that I can get rid of flakey Diald.
