Are newer pppds more lenient with demand dialing on dynamically assigned IPs? I've tried demand before, but my pppd would insist on it's IP and the remote server would refuse and insist on theirs, giving up in the end. I would like to specify a local IP and have it change if necessary on connect with the ISP (since I know at least what subnet they'll be using to, I can put up a default route and have it change afterwards). Is this possible? Christian - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
