I think I got something like this when I tried to compile 2.3.5 on my
RedHat 4.2. It compile OK on RH 5.2, so I would assume it is a libc/glibc
problem.
BTW I sent a message to the list a few days back describing how I compiled
linux 2.0.36 with ppp 2.3.5. Did it not make it? Or was it pure rubbish?
