On upgrading from kernel 2.0.36 and pppd 2.2.0 to kernel 2.2 and pppd 2.3.5, I would be reluctant to mess with a working configuration, or at least to mess with it in an irrevocable way. Maybe you could keep copies on tap of kernel 2.0.36 and pppd 2.2.0 to use if necessary. But I thought pppd 2.3.5 went with kernel 2.0.36.
