How can I be sure that it is a winmodem? The specifications for the
modem don't mention 'winmodem' anywhere and the user guide
claims that the modem works under win95, win3.11 and DOS.
Does the fact that it works in DOS rule out the possibility that it is
a winmodem?

Thanks
