Thank god and linus, <I'm not on the mailing list>
I have upgraded to kernel 2.2.1, with ppp-2.3.5-4
but when I try to connect local ISP with my US_Robotics 56K modem,
I got a error message in syslog, it's sth like:

pppd---modprobe:fail to load ppp-compress-21
pppd---modprobe:fail to load ppp-compress-24
pppd---modprobe:fail to load ppp-compress-26

I notice there is ppp.txt in the Documentation of the new released
kernel. It mentioned:
>The CCP (Compression Control Protocol) which is supported by this
>code is functional. You will need a compatible BSD compressor on
>your peer site to use the code.

Shall I care this error message?
