hi!
success: ipxcp is up (as it has been with 2.0.0f/g; kernel 2.0.33)
but my problem remains:
the interface is seldomly configured correctly as it should be done in sipxfaddr();
there's no entry like ipx/ether ii ..., when looking at ppp0 with ifconfig
tcp/ip is working fine (besides the 'errors' can't locate module ppp-compress-xx).
options for pppd concerning ipx:
ipx
ipx-network 0x20041998
ipx-node 1:2
ipxcp-accept-remote
which are recognized by windoze (e)nt(e), the client
when shutting down the connection, ioctl(SIOCAIFADDR, IPX_DLTITF) 22: Invalid argument
is logged
is there anyone who has ipx up and running (without ipx_configure --auto_interface=on
and postdetection of ppp0)?
thx for any hints
sascha
btw: i believe that diald, attached to the same devie (ttyS0), does influence this
behaviour!? :-(

Yes. An IPX patch for ppp-2.3.3 is attached.
