Hello, Because of some new features (Win-NT-FS etc) I would like to use the new kernel, but sometimes my modem hangs up during a ppp(2.3.4)-connection. I made some tests: the HANGUP is reproducible! -> while loading with netscape (4.04) page "http://www.mailexcite.com/" the modem Always hangs up (kernel 2.1.98) but whith kernel 2.0.33 all works fine! (Also sometimes there are messages like: Apr 25 20:22:32 gaston kernel: ip_rt_advice: redirect to 0f630d81/00 dropped or Apr 21 19:01:09 gaston kernel: TCPv4 bad checksum from 100.11.76.134:8008 to 72.129.20.129:0416, len=1480/1480/1500 But not at the same time as the hangup!) If you know a solution or a better place to post this question, please tell me! Thanks in advance!
