I just want to understand what does this message mean :
pppd[somepid]: ioctl[PPPIOCSASYNCMAP] :input/output error(5).
pppd verson 2.3.4. Linux kernel version 2.0.35 .
I am receiving this message after modem hangup. It is dial-in connection.
The strange think was that at this time my ISP (leased line)was down.
The setup is typical PROVIDER-myRouter(static IP)-myLinux-16portCyclades.
The message came after 60 seconds .
