Hello all!

I am sure you haev heard this question before, but I don't seem to be able
to find an answer anywhere. If I have overlooked something, please point
me in the right direction.

Just tried to upgrade PPP to version ppp-2.3.5 with a tarball from
gd.tuwien.ac.at. However I can't compile the kernel.

I get lots of error messages, and I have tried everything down to
ppp-2.3.3. To no avail. It just won't compile the kernel.

If you know what's wrong, please let me know. I read on dejanews that the
redhat source dist. of the kernel compiles, however I'd rather start from
a clean kernel tarball, then a customized dist that might cough up at the
next corner.

Thanks in advance

Peter H.
