Hi all,
Has anyone seen this one before:
I have managed to get pppd working finally under Redhat v5.1 by removing
the Rocketport serial card on which everything ran and running it off a
plain serial port. I now get a new problem. A connection is established,
and everything runs fine for around 10 minutes, then the following gets
logged:
Oct 19 10:45:48 smash kernel: 7 E4 70 04 DC 42 .$..p..B

Oct 19 10:47:15 smash kernel: 87 95 9E 35 D7 !M....5.
...
After this the ppp connection hangs - an ftp that was running smoothly
suddenly stops running and eventually times out.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Regards,
Graham
