I have somewhat of a similar problem, my ppp connection comes up once. It
dies comming up a second time (if I bring it up manually), it dies after
about 5 times, if I use diald to bring it up. The problem started when I
moved from RH4.2 to RH5.1. It is quite frustrating. So far I've tried kernel
2.0.34 with ppp-2.3.3 & ppp-2.3.5, kernel 2.0.33 with ppp-2.3.5 & ppp-2.2.0,
kernel 2.0.35 with ppp-2.3.5 and kernel 2.0.30 with ppp-2.3.5. Nothing
works.
HELP if you can
