Hi, I can't seem to compile pppd 2.3.5 under Red Hat 5.1. I did a ./configure, editted line 3079 in ppp.c and did a "make kernel" and manually copied over ppp.c. It seems that there's something wrong with <sys/types.h> in that it doesn't include the <linux/types.h> which includes <asm/types.h>. The make keeps complaining that in sys-linux.c that __u8 isn't defined even though <linux/types.h> is included in the file. Did anyone get this to work? I want to try kernel 2.1.125 but I have to upgrade pppd.
