Hi Guys,
I had a linux box with a working ppp connection to my ISP. I updated my
system from SuSE 5.0 to SuSE 5.3. Now when I try to connect to my ISP by
typing "ppp-go"(what I used on SuSE 5.0) the script fails. I can connect
manually using minicom and then starting pppd. Connecting manually seems
to work, but when I run my browser (netscape or lynx), I can't make a
connection to the URL I select.
I think the problem is somewhere in the ppp setup, I just don't where
to look. My hardware and ppp scripts have not changed. I have reviewed
to ppp setup in the SuSE book and made sure all of the necessary
packages are installed.
I would be thankful if some one can point me in the right direction.
