Greeting Folks,
I have a 33.6kbs Zoltrix modem. I am connecting to our
NT RAS server. Everything works fine, except that my
"telnet" and "ftp" sessions seems to have a pause
, in the sense that it is slow. Or the throughput does
NOT seem continous?
When I connect through NT/Win95 to our server everything
seem to work fine that is there are no "hiccups" in my
telnet or ftp sessions. Has anyone seen this behaviour?
I have tried to play aroung with the MTU etc..but to no
avail.
Even "ftp" it will transfer fine for some time and then there
will be NO activity for a long time and then it would start
again! I don;t have any interruptions but this non-activity
periods are puzzling! I consistently connect at speeds
above 26400-33600bps. I thinks it is the ppp module.
Any suggestions or thoughts !
