How can I start pppd from mgetty. I can start pppd from it but :
Mar 10 17:21:39 dial pppd[32497]: Using interface ppp2
Mar 10 17:21:39 dial pppd[32497]: Connect: ppp2 <--> /dev/ttyS4
Mar 10 17:22:09 dial pppd[32497]: Connection terminated.
Mar 10 17:22:09 dial pppd[32497]: Exit.
My line from login.conf is something like that:
/AutoPPP/ - - /usr/sbin/pppd 194.102.196.4:194.102.196.5 -chap +pap login
mgetty was compiled with
CFLAGS=-02 -Wall -pipe -DAUTO_PPP
mgetty is started from /etc/inittab
m4:234:/usr/local/mgetty/sbin/mgetty -D -x9 /dev/ttyS4
