I am a new ppp-linux user.  I use Red Hat 5.1

What are the meanings of this messages found in /var/log/messages:
*
pppd[474]:  CCP terminated by peer
pppd[473]:  LCP terminated by peer
*

I ask this because my clients are sometimes disconnected or their modems
are hangup.
