Well, I had to stop using dip when I put a wireless CDPD phone on my Qube2.
That's because dip has some non-portable assembler code in it and none for
the mips platform. Bummer.
Instead I use diald which also works for slip, and I've been pretty happy
with it over the last couple of days. Although that IP Masq MTU mismatch
issue is quite aggravating because the phone must use 1006. I fixed it for
my Linux boxes with route's mss option, but the Windows stations are screwed.
