Sorry for the need to repost just to fix an omission.  I'm using
2.2.5-NANO (2.2.5 with Ulrich Windl's PPSkit patch).  Of course, pppd
2.3.7.  Linked with glibc 2.0.95.  On a Pentium II. ;)
