I've got a weird connect script error. My pppscript is as follows:
TIMEOUT 60
ABORT ERROR
...yada, yada...
ABORT "NO DIALTONE"
"" ATZ&F2&K3
"atdt8530856"
TIMEOUT 75
CONNECT ""
What I get with this is nothing, while the message log tells me that it
was *expecting* the dial string. So I changed it to:
"" atdt8530856
And the message log told me that it would send it, but nothing sent to
the modem. The first and second messages are attached as ppp-log and
ppp-log2 respectively.
My thoughts are that the script is not actually sending anything to the
modem, although the modem *does* work with Minicom. Does anyone have any
ideas, or a good script? Thanks
