I'm new in this list and I have a problem. I read the PPP
Howto, and other documentations, but all my tests fail.
The question is: I need make static my ppp interfaces. For
example, I have 5 dedicated links in a multiserial in my Linux.
I am trying to monitoring them with MRTG. But MRTG looks in
specifics interfaces. There are 13 interfaces ppp(ppp0...ppp12), and I
want that dedicated links are in ppp8,ppp9...ppp12 always. If anyone
these down, /etc/inittab up it in the same interface. (if ppp8 down, I
want that it come back in ppp8 again, even if the machine down).
And the same thing for the other links.
If this is possible, I apreciate any answer to my question.
