Hi all,
I've a strange problem. I've a PPP connection with a 56K modem
on a RedHat 5.2 with kernel 2.0.36. Sometime I got this on /var/log/messages:

I think that sometime mgetty got too many init chat failed and the init will
disable it. My problem is why mgetty got this failure ? Is it a modem problem?
I need to change some chat string ? Any one have got the same problem ?
Finally I want connect others modem on a specialix 8 ports. I've tried
some test with PPP but the modem hang. I've already connected 3 terminal
that are working well. Below there is a /var/log/messages for the specialix driver:
