my ppp server: i686 under SuSE linux 6.0 (2.0.36), ppp-2.3.5-18
network:10.10.0.0 255.255.0.0
my ppp client: i686 under NT4SP4 WKST @IP
network:10.8.0.0 255.255.0.0
my 2 modems: olitec Speedcom 56000 V90
No problem for the ppp connexion under linux. Under NT4SP4 I've
a lot of CRC errors and after connecting I cannot see the machines from
network 10.10.0.0 with the network neighborhood.
The init of the modem on the server side is :
init-chat "" \dAT&F&C1E1\d\r OK AT&K3S0=0 OK
where can I enter the init string on the NT4 station side ?
The IP address of the PPP interface and the DNS are affected by the
server.
After connecting, the command route PRINT on the NT4 station gives me:
10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 10.10.0.31 10.10.0.31 1
I should have :
10.10.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.10.0.25 10.10.0.31 1
where can I enter the correct netmask on the NT4 station side ? ( no such
field available )
