Hi Guys
I'm having a few problems with a VPN (Virtual Private Network)
I am using a slackware 2.0.29 as a gateway to the internet. The gateway
has a static IP address and others on the local net are WinNT with 192.168�.
addresses etc with masquerading enabled. Demand dialing works fine and
everyone has full access to the internet.
I am trying to access a private web server, that is behind a Checkpoint
Firewall 1,
using checkpoint VPN software.
If I connect one of the NT boxes direct to my ISP without going through the
linux gateway I am able to connect to the private web server, with an
authorisation
acknowledgement from the Checkpoint firewall, and browse without any
problems.
If I try to connect to the private web server via the linux gateway I
receive an
Authorisation acknowledgement from the Checkpoint firewall but my browser
times
out with no data being received.
it is as if the packets are not being routed back to the WinNT box. I have
set all
default policies, input, output and firewall in IPFWADM to ACCEPT all.
But it still doesn't work !!!!!!
