Having AutoPPP logins registered in utmp

Hi,

        I'm using AutoPPP in my linux box with Mgetty. But I'm having
problems in
having my users registered in my log files or listed with 'who' command.

The problem occurs only with AutoPPP users. They connect normally, but
they are not listed in utmp.
        I've put the following command in login.config:
/AutoPPP/ -     -     /usr/sbin/pppd auth login +pap -chap modem crtscts

proxyarp lock
        I've sent a message to Gert Doering and he said that this is not

about mgetty and the problem is with pppd.
      I hope you can help me, indicating where can I get those patchs,
which site can I get this informations or telling me the solutions. I've

read the mgetty-faq, the PPP-howto, the PPP-faq and there's nothing
about this problem (having users logged in utmp when the authentication
is PAP)
