Problems with change from ppp-2.2.0 to ppp-2.3.5

I was connecting to my ISP using ppp-2.2.0f-3 with 

/usr/sbin/pppd connect '/usr/sbin/chat -v ABORT "BUSY" ABORT "NO ANSWER" ABORT "NO 
CARRIER" "" ATZ OK ATDT111111 CONNECT' /dev/ttyS1 38400 +ua /root/auth.ppp

but I have read that in ppp-2.3.5 the auth not work.

wich are the changes to work with ppp-2.3.5-0b?
